Help establish IslamicASA as a permanent educational and archival institution dedicated to preserving, documenting, and publishing the history of Islam and Muslims in the Americas.
Building the Institution
IslamicASA is currently being developed as an educational and archival initiative with the goal of becoming a formal nonprofit institution. The Society’s work includes historical research, archival recovery, digital publication, collection development, and public access to overlooked sources.
At this formative stage, support helps build the legal, administrative, and technical foundation needed for IslamicASA to operate responsibly, preserve materials, and expand its research and publication activities.
Current Status: IslamicASA is not currently set up to accept tax-deductible charitable contributions.
Any support offered at this stage would assist with organizational development, incorporation costs, website operations, archival research, and related start-up expenses. Such support should not be treated as a tax-deductible donation.
Founding Campaign Priorities
- Legal incorporation and organizational setup
- Registered agent, business address, and administrative infrastructure
- Website hosting, technical development, and digital preservation
- Archival reproductions, scans, permissions, and digitization costs
- Acquisition of rare printed works, catalogs, ephemera, and related materials
- Research, editorial, documentation, and publication activities
Founding Supporters
Early supporters play a unique role in helping establish IslamicASA. Individuals who contribute during the Society’s formative period may be recognized as Founding Supporters, unless they prefer to remain anonymous or not be publicly listed.
Recognition and Privacy: Supporters may be recognized publicly, listed anonymously, or omitted entirely at their request. IslamicASA understands that some supporters prefer privacy, and those preferences will be respected.
